Acupuncture Awareness Week, supported by the British Acupuncture Council, aims to help better inform people about the ancient practice of traditional acupuncture and back pain. With 2.3 million acupuncture treatments carried out each year, acupuncture is one of the most popular complementary therapies practised in the UK today.
Awareness weeks such as Breast Cancer Awareness Week and Back Care Awareness Week provide a great platform to talk to both the media and patients/potential patients about a subject as they make it timely and relevant and increase the overall awareness of the subject.
This year we are gearing up for our third Acupuncture Awareness Week, supported by the British Acupuncture Council, which will take place on the 3 - 10 March 2014. The week aims to raise awareness and understanding around acupuncture and give consumers all the information they need about treatment and what to expect.
The website www.introducingacupuncture.co.uk includes videos of both case study testimonials and a practitioner FAQ, plus a video from our very own celebrity fan, Camilla Dallerup.
