Hla Myatt Saw acupuncturist

Hla graduated in Acupuncture from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1981 and in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the London Academy of Oriental Medicine in 1991. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM). She is a past president of the RCHM.

She has been involved in education since 1995 as a senior lecturer and clinical supervisor and has taught at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and the University of Westminster, School of Integrated Studies. In 2009 she was a course leader in a postgraduate training programme in medical education at the London Deanery.

She is passionate about holistic medicine as a way of life through awareness of diet, exercise and mental attitude and is particularly interested in the mind-body aspect of health and healing.

She enjoys cooking, writing, meditation and spending time in nature.
