Emma Overson graduated in 1994 from Coventry University with a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She spent 7 years working in the NHS gaining valuable experience in several specialities, which were predominantly musculoskeletal and orthopaedic based, before moving into private practice in 2001. She specialises in musculoskeletal problems with a particular interest in core stability and postural problems including ante-natal and post-natal issues.
Emma gained her Pilates teaching qualification in 2003 from the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and now incorporates it into individual treatment programmes as well as holding group classes in Highworth. Emma also works at Highworth Physiotherapy Clinic and carries out workstation assessments for various companies.
She is committed to continuing professional development to enhance professional practice. She is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Physio First (the organisation for Physiotherapists working in private practice). Emma is a registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council.
Emma treats in the Clinic on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
